Throw it back to the 80s with Bowery's take on the infamous cheese ball! Tangy from goat cheese, sweet from dates, and zesty from lemon, this herb-filled wonder will be sure to delight your guests.

Ingredients
- 10 ounces goat cheese, softened
- 2 blocks (16oz) cream cheese, softened
- 6 dates, pitted, roughly chopped
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 clamshells Bowery Parsley, chopped
- 1 clamshell Bowery Basil, chopped
- Pretzels, crackers and/or crudité, to serve
Preparation
- Combine goat cheese and cream cheese in a large bowl. Mash together with a spatula until smooth and uniform in texture.
- Mix in chopped dates, ⅓ of the chopped walnuts, lemon zest and ½ of the chopped herbs. Use a spatula to gently form the mixture into a ball.
- Mix the remaining walnuts and herbs together and put them into a medium sized bowl. Gently roll the cheese ball in the walnut herb mixture. Keeping the ball in the bowl, transfer to the fridge to firm up.
- Remove from the fridge at least 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy with pretzels, crackers and/or crudité.
