Bowery hosted its third installment of our Bites with Bowery dinner series.
Bowery hosted its third installment of our Bites with Bowery dinner series on Tuesday, December 4th at the new Seamore’s location in Brookfield Place. These events bring Bowery and a chef’s missions to life through a shared meal, welcoming positive discussion about innovations improving our food system today.
Seamore’s longstanding commitment to sustainability inspired a multi-course menu curated by Executive Chef Christopher Cryer. Our CEO, Irving Fain, and Seamore’s co-founder, Michael Chernow, hosted the intimate dinner, which featured ethically sourced ingredients from land and sea. See below for more about the delicious meal, and special thanks to the team at Seamore’s for a memorable evening.
Each course featured Bowery greens, including passed hors d’oeuvres and welcome cocktails.
Irving Fain and Michael Chernow kicked off the seated dinner with opening remarks about our partnership, and then we promptly jumped into the first course from Chef Christopher Cryer.
First Course: Half Cooked Scallop with Smoked Bacon Dashi, Bowery Wasabi Arugula Buds, and Tempura Herbs
Second Course: Braised Short Rib with Potato Terrine, Pumpkin, Bowery Siberian Kale
Entrée: Wrapped & Roasted Kelp + Tilefish, Heart of Palm, Mushrooms, Bowery Bok Choy
The final course – dessert! Chef Cryer prepared a White Chocolate & Strawberry Mold with Bowery Thai Basil
